Yes, and the fact that you serve coaches puts you top-of-mind for me to refer coaches to you. That and your gorgeous sites. You really know how to give coaches what they want and help them shine.

I really want to answer your question but didn't quite understand what you meant by it? Try again? For now, I'll just say that helping coaches target their ideal coaching market is part of my brand. I have expertise in it and know it's STEP #1 for coaches so I talk about it a lot. However, I recommend that coaches create a marketing plan that includes a strategic way to choose topics for blogs that are relevant to whatever they are promoting right them. If they are promoting a workshop about a certain topic, their blog posts for three weeks prior to launch s/b about that topic so the workshop appears as a resource instead of unrelated marketing.

I used to be a general web designer, and boy was finding clients much tougher and my quailty of work much more limited as I wasn't getting better at any one type of client. Now, that I especially work with coaches, I'm able to add a lot more value as each site is better than the last, gets done faster as well. I also enjoy working with coaches more so than random-business-x.

In you posts, I like how you reconnect with the need for a target market in your posts. Well done. Got any tips for connecting to other posts as well? (It keeps me poking around!)

Thanks Gregg,

Darren's blog is fantastic. I also get a lot from David Risley, a colleague of Darren's. http://www.davidrisley.com

Here's a strategy, if you have both a blog list and ezine list, consider repurposing one article each week (the best) from your blog onto your ezine. My webmaster set it up so that when my blog goes out it automatically populates my ezine template on Aweber with the article. Then a VA can go in, put in some resources, check that it all looks good and Queue it up!

Very timely post…I’ve recently been focusing more attention to my blog and already have seen an increase in newsletter sign-ups, sales of e-books and general interest in coaching. One source that has help me tremendously is Darren Rowse of ProBlogger.net His info is fantastic! I really enjoy using my blog…now I have to balance out content for the blog and my newsletter :-) Thanks for a great post!
